On March 27th, it was revealed that actress Nakayama Miho (42) and actor Mukai Osamu (30) will be starring in a new romance film called 'Atarashii Kutsu wo Kawanakucha'.

The movie tells the 3-day love story between a photographer (Mukai) and freelance writer (Nakayama) who meet in Paris by chance.

The ages of both Nakayama and Mukai's characters won't differ much from real life so there will be over a 10-year age gap between the two fictional characters as well.

Nakayama commented, "His character is attractive, it's like a miracle. I can really feel his charm."�Meanwhile, Mukai stated, "In relationships,�I've never thought about age.�Rather than age, I'm more interested in a person's inner qualities."

'Atarashii Kutsu wo Kawanakucha' was first inspired about 6 years ago when scriptwriter�Kitagawa Eriko heard of Nakayama's lifestyle in Paris. Soon after, there were talks about a movie adaptation; however, it was delayed when Kitagawa fell ill.

The film will also be produced by Iwai Shuji, who�has teamed up with Nakayama back in 1995 for the movie, 'Love Letter'. Although it's been 15 years, Iwai shared his impression on Nakamura saying, "I don't see any changes. I only think she's become an innocent adult."

He also praised Mukai saying, "He's a smart person. He can speak English, and although he's never been overseas, his pronunciations are of a native speaker's."

The shooting for the movie kicked off in Paris on March 15th. Director Kitagawa expressed, "Everyday is like a war. It's different from a script where we have time. We have to shoot within the time limit."

'Atarashii Kutsi wo Kawanakucha' is scheduled to open in theaters October 2012.
