Previously, we reported that actor Nagayama Kento was hospitalized due to a knee fracture after a motorcycle accident. On April 23rd, he updated his blog for the first time since the incident, and reported his condition.
Nagayama wrote, "I didn't know what was going to happen to my leg, but it's getting better and better each day. I'm astonished at the 'recuperative powers of the body'." He continued, "Rehabilitation exercises with the doctor isn't enough, so I've also been doing a lot of it on my own time. They're telling me to be careful not to overdo myself."
According to his agency, Nagayama is expected to be discharged from the hospital in mid-May. "Afterwards, he will continue to rehabilitate with crutches, and will aim for complete recovery in summer," they explained.
Nagayama wrapped up his blog saying, "Walking without crutches will take some time, but I am certainly getting better. I will continue to rehabilitate so there will be no lasting effects, and I will do my best to see everyone again."
