It's been reported that rock band Kishidan's drummer Shiratori Yukinojo will be going into long-term care for muscular insufficiency in his left hand.

Shiratori has canceled his appearances for the remaining 15 shows of Kishidan's nationwide tour and 2 events.Through the band's official website, he commented, "At this time, I feel vexed to retire from the tour like this."

Kishidan is currently in the middle of their live house tour to commemorate their 15th anniversary. It was during the Kagoshima concert on June 9th that Shiratori experienced a tear in the muscle of his left hand.

Their agency explained, "After detailed examination, fortunately it wasn't a serious injury, not something that will not allow him to play the drums again. However, he will be devoting himself to long-term care that is necessary for complete recovery."

Vocalist Ayanokoji Sho left a message to worried fans on Twitter saying, "Everyone, thank you for the warm, encouraging messages to Yukinojo. It brings tears to my eyes." He continued, "Show must go on. Even so, we will continue going... Tours, events, festivals, new songs, and also expositions. Everyone, please stay tuned for Kishidan."

Shiratori apologized, "I'm very very sorry." He then joked, "I will surely be back. I look like a Namekian, but on the inside, I'm a Saiyan (Namekian and Saiyan are characters from Dragon Ball). When I'm dying, I become stronger. I promise I will appear in front of everyone again as a more sexy and violent drummer."
