Morning Musume's Michishige Sayumi attends "Dragon Nest" event in cosplay
On July 9th, Morning Musume leader Michishige Sayumi attended an event at Shinjuku Station Square for the popular online game "Dragon Nest", where an AR advertisement feature for the game was introduced to the crowd.
Talento Neko Hiroshi - who was also present at the event and appears in a "Dragon Nest" CM as a 'cheerleader' for the game - was full of enthusiasm. "I'm changing my name to Dragon Hiroshi!" he joked brightly, revealing a banner with 'Dragon Hiroshi' written on it in black ink. He even changed his well-known shout "Meow!" for "Dragon!". Infamously poison-tongued Michishige had harsh words for him on his 'transformation', however, bluntly commented, "Even your pose is the same, and it's lame. Looks really trashy."
"Dragon Nest" is a free 3D online 'action battle' RPG game with over 5.7 million members. If you use the smartphone application, a gigantic 15 meter tall version of the character Haloli - a legendary idol played by Michishige in the game - appears at your location. "As I get bigger, my cuteness grows too," she said with her usual, unabashed self-confidence.
"I looked at her from top to bottom like I was running my tongue all over her," said Neko, causing Michishige to retort, "You're not a cat anymore, so I want you to quit with the licking." She kept up her narcissistic character much to the amusement of the crowd. Recalling a previous statement made by OG member Nakazawa Yuko at a previous event - "You've gotten prettier recently. Did something happen?" - she said to the audience, "I really have gotten prettier, honestly. It's not an answer as an idol, but seriously 'there is no love at all'. There are no chances to meet guys, and I like myself so much that I'm not interested in anyone else."
