On November 22nd, it was revealed in the 52nd issue of manga magazine “WEEKLY YOUNG JUMP”, that the manga series “Rozen Maiden” will be made into an anime.  The series was created by popular female manga artists unit PEACH-PIT, who also created popular manga series “Shugo Chara!”  More details will be revealed in future issues of the magazine.

“Rozen Maiden” began as a serial in “Monthly Comic Birz” (from Gentosha.)  In 2008, the publication of the series moved to “WEEKLY YOUNG JUMP” and it continues to be published once a month.  The fantasy manga series follows a reclusive young man by the name of Sakurada Jun, who stumbles upon a copy of the magazine “Shukan Shojo no Tsukurikata,” and begins to make many antique dolls or “Rozen Maidens.”  Hereafter, his world begins to change.

Its newest  8th volume and the 1st volume of its spinoff series “Rozen Maiden dolls talk”, that is currently serialized on monthly shoujo manga magazine "Ribon" (from Shueisha), will be published on December 19th.
