Popular group Kanjani8's first single for 2013, "Hesomagari/Koko ni shika nai Keshiki" (released on April 24th) sold 295,000 copies in the first week, and topped Oricon weekly single ranking. The first week sales for this single far exceeded the previous one "Aoppana"s (released in September 2012), which was 208,000 copies.

This also marked the 10th consecutive single (including "ER" which was the single released under the name Eight Ranger) from the group to top the chart.

One of the title tracks "Hesomagari" is being used as the theme song for TV Asahi's ongoing drama "Otenki Oneesan", in which Okura Tadayoshi is appearing, and the other title track "Koko ni shika nai Keshiki" is the theme song for Nishikido Ryo's starring movie "Kenchou Omotenashi Ka" (to be released on May 11th).
