Actress Matsuyuki Yasuko will be making a guest appearance in the upcoming movie 'ATARU -THE FIRST LOVE & THE LAST KILL-' starring SMAP's Nakai Masahiro.

Matsuyuki is going to play a tough female police director named 'Hoshi Akiho' who manages the investigation headquarters of the police department. She has an artificial leg and is sitting in a wheelchair, but she is more than a tough match for our protagonist 'Ataru' (Nakai) when she has to corner him as one of the prime suspects in a mysterious case.

She commented, "Nakai really is like a great friend from my generation, so I'm very happy to get to work together with him again after such a long time." The last time they worked together was in the hit drama 'Suna no Utsuwa' in 2004. Matsuyuki continued, "My character is supposed to be a very composed woman, and she confronts Ataru as a result of her cool judgement and information analysis. So, I have to be careful not to put too much emotion into my acting."

It made for a good TV show, but I get the feeling they've now started to beat a dead horse. The plot's becoming more and more silly. Hacker shuts down city and blows up buildings with leet hacking skills (while his screen shows clearly only a lot of flash graphics)... Yeah, NCIS has done stuff like that and it was totally retarded then. It's not any better now. And one savant is no longer enough, now it has to be two. Next movie? Probably three? Maybe four?

Plus the scene where they sit back to back with the revolvers, that's just as silly. Not a good way to commit suicide because it tends to fail (most famously Tojo tried to do it that way, and totally failed.)
