If AKB48's singles follow a similar pattern that they made over the past few years, this year's year end sales for them will be extremely high, possibly even 20bil円+ Assuming Oricon stops counting the 7th of December in 2014 and their final 2014 single releases on the 3rd of December 2014, they will have 6 singles' sales counted and the Manatsu No Dome DVD and their latest album.

Actually...I don't think it is.......Dome tour release 12/18 and this ranking stop counting after 2 weeks into December I think..They didn't count Suzukake sales number into final because if they did, AKB would top Arashi.

Not surprised arashi released 2Dvds. Akb didnt release a album and had a huge drop in dvd sales.

I just realize and I don't think AKB's dome tour concert was counted tho? It's release 12/18 and Oricon stop counting after 2 weeks of December and that's the dome tour AKB fans care about since it have all the grad and stuffs.

@swirl900 But you have to remember Acchan (Maeda Atsuko) graduated last year so fans were buying CDs/DVDs like crazy.
