Animated feature film "Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary" (directed by Sato Keiichi, to be released on June 21st, 2014) will screen its world premiere at the renowned Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France on June 11, 2014 at 8pm local time. (June 12, 2014 at 3pm in JST).

According to the organizers, the film is "a theatrical version of the iconic manga and television anime series from the 1980s. It was directed by the famous Japanese anime director Sato Keiichi, and the project overseen by the original author Kurumada Masami...with intense action and a strong story, couple with music by the legendary J-pop star YOSHIKI, this will be a one of its kind anime production."�

At the film festival, English subtitles will be added to the original Japanese voice-over, featuring the Japanese voice talents including that of idol group Momoiro Clover Z's Sasaki Ayaka who voiced the heroine Athena, Kido Saori in the film.�
