It's been reported that L'Arc~en~Ciel member tetsuya's wife, actress Sakai Ayana,�has given birth to their first child. This was announced on September 1 through Sakai's blog as well as a fax from her agency to media outlets.

According to sources, Sakai gave birth to a healthy baby boy. She expressed, "I've always wanted to meet him! Everyday is going to be hectic filled with things that I'm not used to. I have a lot of flaws, but I hope to become a mother by exerting myself and enjoying it."

Sakai married tetsuya back in 2007. She announced the pregnancy of their first child in April.
