SKE48's 16th single "12-gatsu no Kangaroo" which was released on December 10 enjoyed excellent sales, topping Oricon's latest weekly ranking.
The first week sales for the single was 386,000 copies, and it exceeded the first week sales of previous single "Bukiyou Taiyou"s which sold 324,000 copies.

This is their 12th consecutive chart-topping single, and they are ranked No.2 for "the number of consecutive chart-topping singles" for a female group, following AKB48.
Since their debut in August 2009, the group's center position has been served by Matsui Jurina alone, or Matsui Jurina and Matsui Rena together, but for this single, 6th generation member Kitagawa Ryoha and 5th generation member Miyamae Ami were chosen as the center.
