On January 12, major league baseball player Uehara Koji of the Boston Red Sox made a guest appearance at the stage greeting for movie 'Vancouver no Asahi' in Tokyo.

This was a surprise that the movie's lead actor Tsumabuki Satoshi didn't even know about. When asked by Tsumabuki about a lifetime career in the major league, Uehara commented, "I'd like to if there was an offer, but I'd also like to try in Japan if the offer came." Regarding a future career in coaching, he showed enthusiasm saying, "I want to coach high school or college. I want to teach amateurs."

On the other hand, reporters asked Tsumabuki about his relationship with actress Maiko. "It's going well," he publicly admitted. While he revealed that he spent the New Year's holidays at his parents' house, he denied taking Maiko along.
