It's been announced that�Monkey Punch's manga 'Lupin the Third' will be returning as a new TV anime series this fall on NTV.�

'Lupin the Third' had a spin-off anime 'LUPIN the Third -Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna-' in 2012, and a spin-off movie 'LUPIN THE IIIRD Jigen Daisuke no Bohyou' in 2014. The first original series in 30 years will�depict the activities of Lupin and his gang in�the Republic of San Marino, Italy. It will also air on�Italy's broadcasting station�RTI in preparation for a worldwide release.�

The new 'Lupin the Third' illustration shown above features Lupin and his gang in a car chase with Zenigata. It was also announced that Ohno Yuji, who was in charge of the 'Lupin Theme', will take on the music for the series once again. While it's been awhile since he participated in the series ('Lupin the Third PART III'), fans can look forward to the newly recorded theme song.�
