Sheena Ringo's new song "Saihate ga Mitai" will get a worldwide release via the iTunes Store at Recochoku and other music distributing sites on May 13.
"Saihate ga Mitai" was a song that Sheena wrote and composed for Ishikawa Sayuri. The self-cover will be used as the theme song for the anime film 'Sarusuberi ~MissHOKUSAI~' opening in theaters on May 9. The movie is based on an original manga by Sugiura Hinako, who is an avid listener of Sheena's music. Consequently, the movie's director Hara Keiichi requested Sheena to sing the theme song, and she recorded a new version of "Saihate ga Mitai".
On the day of the song's digital release, Sheena will release a CD for "Saihate ga Mitai" together with a jacket cover containing a barcode for Recochoku download and a limited edition towel. This will only be available for purchase through Tower Records stores, TOWER mini stores, and Tower Records online store.
