On June 12, actress Shaku Yumiko (38) announced the birth of her first child.

Shaku gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 2,890 grams (6 lbs 5.9 oz). On her blog, she expressed, "It's the biggest miracle. The moment he was born, I couldn't stop crying. I can't explain it with words, but I was just so moved."�

Shaku shared that this day was her 38th birthday, "It became a double birthday," and continued, "And just like that, I had a super easy delivery, and met my baby that I had been waiting for."�

Shaku uploaded a photo of her newborn son saying, "We are finally, finally able to meet. Thank you for being born..." She concluded, "It was the best birthday present that I will never forget."

Shaku married a non-celebrity man on October 10 of last year. She revealed her pregnancy this January.
