Akanishi Jin's first solo single effort, "Eternal", grabbed the #1 spot on the�Oricon Daily Single Ranking with more than 161,000 copies being sold.

Since his solo act was announced in July of last year, there has been huge anticipation from fans, and by all accounts, their wait was well worth it, as the sales figures and opinions have been positive.
