On March 17th, talent Minami Akina attended an event for "Saint Cloth Myth EX", a new character figurine series for the popular anime "Saint Seiya" (aka "Knights of the Zodiac").

At the event, Minami showed off a cosplay of the goddess Athena from the anime, remarking, "A perfect cosplay. It gets me pumped up." �She also commented that she wanted to "use (the figurines while playing) my favorite games" as a lucky charm.

Bandai's "Saint Cloth Myth" figurines have been sold since 2003, with 2.6 million sales in Japan and 6.1 million around the world. The first set in the new series, "Gemini Saga", will hit stores on August 27th. In late September, the largest scale figurines in the series to date (1/6 scale), "Saint Cloth Crown", will also be launched.
