It's been reported that The Drifters' Nakamoto Koji (70) and singer Midai Junka (age undisclosed) will be getting married in July.

According to Nakamoto's agency, the couple met back in 2006 after Nakamoto was put in charge of producing Midai's songs. They officially started dating in September of 2011.

During a concert in November of the same year, Nakamoto was asked by reporters, "Are you aiming for a happy ending?" He happily responded, "Aiming for it is inevitable." Earlier in March, fellow The Drifters member Kato Cha had also mentioned that Nakamoto would soon be getting married.

This will be Nakamoto's 3rd marriage. His first wife passed away in 1982, then remarried in 1991. The couple had 3 children, but divorced in 2004.
