On July 12th, AKB48's "Team Surprise" made an appearance at the press conference for Kyoraku's 'Pachinko AKB48'.

"Team Surprise" was formed just for 'Pachinko AKB48', Kyoraku's latest pachinko model that will line up in pachinko halls nationwide this summer. The team consists of Team A's Kojima Haruna, Shinoda Mariko, Takajo Aki, Takahashi Minami, and Maeda Atsuko, Team K's Itano Tomomi, Oshima Yuko, Minegishi Minami, Miyazawa Sae, and Yokoyama Yui, Team B's Kashiwagi Yuki, Kitahara Rie, and Watanabe Mayu, Team 4's Shimazaki Haruka, SKE48's Matsui Rena, and HKT48's Sashihara Rino.

On this day, Team B's Kasai Tomomi took the place of Sashihara, who has other activities in Hakata, Fukuoka.

At the beginning of the press conference, the members of Team Surprise held a mini-live where they performed AKB48's songs "Heavy Rotation", "Flying Get", "Manatsu no Sounds good!", and "Juryoku�Sympathy".

During a cross-talk session with MC Heisei Nobushi Kobushi, Oshima commented on the 'Pachinko AKB48' saying, "It was like I was watching a concert up close.�I was surprised at how pretty it was." Meanwhile, Maeda stated, "Both the appearance and interior are amazing! I want people to try it out as soon as possible."

Kyoraku's new model, 'Pachinko AKB48', allows users to view Team Surprise's original performance 'Juryoku Sympathy', which starts once an hour on all machines utilizing a function called "RTC (Real Time Clock)".

It will feature a total of 12 brand new songs, including songs from a new unit comprised of Kashiwagi Yuki, Oshima Yuko, and Maeda Atsuko. One song will be introduced every week, and a CD release is also scheduled in the near future.
