AKB48 Team K member Suzuki Mariya has announced her graduation from the group.�

On her blog, Suzuki explained, "When I thought about how there are many junior members shouldering the next generation of AKB48, my feelings�toward graduating became more certain. I decided to�graduate at my birthday concert, which will be held on my birthday." She called out to her fans, "These next two and a half months in AKB48,�I will continue to enjoy my youth that I can never return to, so it would make me happy if you would cheer me on."�

Suzuki's graduation and birthday concert will be held on April 30. She will continue to participate in handshake events until June 10.

Suzuki joined AKB48 as its 7th generation member in 2008. In 2012, she transferred to�SNH48, then the following year, she held a concurrent position in SNH48 and AKB48. Since last year, she has been a full-time Team K member.
