On July 6, Platinum Production announced that talent Kinoshita Yukina has retired from showbiz. 

A statement on Platinum Production's official website reads, "As we met to carefully discuss her future activities, we came to the conclusion that it would be difficult to maintain a trusty relationship." 

As they had been working with Kinoshita for the past 14 years, they commented, "It is truly disappointing that it has turned out this way. As a managing company, we feel so helpless." 

To her fans and other related persons, they said, "We apologize for this announcement. We kindly ask for your understanding." 

Kinoshita had just resumed her activities on July 1 after being on break since last November.
