Hono Tamura has announced that she will graduate from Sakurazaka46.

Tamura shared the news through her official blog, revealing that she will conclude her activities with the group following the release of Sakurazaka46's 16th single, "Ai MUST BE," on October 14. Her final graduation date will be announced at a later date. 

Born in Osaka in 1998, Tamura passed the joint Sakamichi audition for Nogizaka46, Keyakizaka46, and Hiragana Keyakizaka at age 19. She joined Keyakizaka46 as a second-generation member at 20 years old and later became a member of Sakurazaka46 following the group's name change.

Reflecting on her time with the group, Tamura wrote, "Since joining, I've shared and dreamed of so many things, especially with the members of my generation. Some of those dreams came true, while there were also wishes that didn't."

She also thanked Sakurazaka46 fans, also known as "Buddies," saying, "I'll never forget everything Buddies have given me. Thank you so much for always giving me so many smiles, courage, and strength."
