BUMP OF CHICKEN's Fujiwara Motoo (Vo, G) has announced his marriage to a non-celebrity woman. 

This was announced on August 24 during BUMP OF CHICKEN's regular program 'PONTSUKA!!' on bayfm. Fujiwara commented, "I want to live every day to the fullest together with the person who is irreplaceable and important to me. Thanks to everyone's support, I am who I am today. Turning my grateful feelings into music, I will continue making music with all of my power." 

Since forming in 1996, Fujiwara has been in charge of writing and composing most of BUMP OF CHICKEN's songs. The band made their major debut in September of 2000 with the single "Diamond," and has released a number of hit songs since.
