AKB48's Miyazaki Miho has announced her graduation from the group.
Miyazaki made the announcement on December 12 via a live streaming event on YouTube. She decided to graduate in order to pursue her activities in South Korea. "I want to create opportunities to express my gratitude to South Korean fans who supported me during 'PRODUCE 48.' I also want to be able to speak Korean fluently," she explained.
Miyazaki's graduation concert will be held in February at the AKB48 Theater. After graduation, she will move to South Korea and start her new life there.
Miyazaki joined AKB48 as a fifth generation member along with Kitahara Rie and Sashihara Rino. She is the last fifth generation member in the group.
