The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced the winners of 'THE 36th JAPAN GOLD DISC AWARD.'

Awards are based on sales numbers, and the winners of this year were chosen from data compiled between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021. The 'Artist of the Year' award, which goes to the artist with the biggest sales for the year, went to Snow Man. In addition, they have received 'Album of the Year' and 'Best 5 Albums' with "Snow Mania S1," 'Single of the Year' and 'Best 5 Singles' with "Grandeur," and 'Best 5 Singles' with "HELLO HELLO" giving them a total of seven awards.
