On April 23rd, former AKB48 member Yamada Nanami (23) updated her Instagram account announcing the birth of her first child.

Yamada wrote, "A healthy baby boy was born the other day. Our child is too precious to express in words. I still feel as if I'm floating in air. I am still a 'baby' mom, so I hope to learn together with my baby." 

She continued, "Since we are in these times, no one was able to witness the birth nor visit, so there were times I felt lonely. However, I am doing well thanks to the support of the people around me. Also, thank you for sending me messages of worry and encouragement." 

Yamada is a former member of AKB48's Team 8. Her first senbatsu was "Tsubasa wa Iranai" in June of 2016, and she graduated in June of 2019. Last November, she announced her marriage and pregnancy via her Instagram account.
