It's been reported that EXILE ATSUSHI will be putting a halt to his activities due to his poor health condition.
In mid-March, ATSUSHI felt ill after having a work-related dinner. Upon hearing his situation and a detailed examination, it was determined that he was feeling unwell due to possible carbon monoxide poisoning. As he is still experiencing subjective symptoms, he is recuperating under guidance of his physician.
ATSUSHI's condition is gradually improving, but he is unable to perform for long periods of time. As such, he will be dedicating himself to recovery for the time being.
ATSUSHI was scheduled to kick off his nationwide tour 'EXILE ATSUSHI LIVE TOUR 2023 ~Heart to Heart~ Season 2' on April 30. However, due to his poor health, he will be canceling or postponing shows between April 30 and June 4. His appearance in the '#HIROSHIMA Mirai Baton' on May 4 at Edion Stadium Hiroshima has been canceled as well.

"To everyone who always supports me Today, I have to make a very disappointing announcement to my fans, so I am very sorry, but I would appreciate it if you would read it to the end. First of all, I’m not feeling well, so I haven’t been able to update various things such as SNS, and I’m sorry for worrying everyone. In fact, around mid-March, when I had a meal with a work-related person, I became ill and I was hospitalized for tests. Of course, the people who created that environment didn’t mean anything badly, and they ended up in that kind of situation unintentionally, by accident.
For the first month and a half, I had severe dizziness, nausea, and headaches. Even now, about two months later, there are times when words are a little difficult to come out. It’s a state where the frequency echoes in the brain and causes headaches from there. Therefore, it is difficult to listen to music at a loud volume or sing for a long time, so I have to limit my work such as live performances and singing.
Specifically, on the most recent April 30th, I will be postponing my solo tour that was scheduled to start on my birthday, and canceling the #HIROSHIMA Mirai Baton event appearance at the G7 Hiroshima Summit. Everyone who was looking forward to it I feel really sorry. In addition, the solo tour “EXILE ATSUSHI LIVE TOUR 2023 ‘Heart to Heart’ Season 2”, which tours 47 prefectures, will continue with the aim of rescheduled performances for the places that have been postponed. As such, I would like to work hard to recover with the goal of returning to the Tokyo performance on June 13th.
The symptoms are more severe than I thought, and I am very sorry for worrying you all. From here on, I get my feelings… In the middle of the night, I close my eyes thinking I’m going to sleep, but in the middle of my headache and loneliness, I wonder what will happen if I don’t get over it… I worry about what to do if I can’t fulfill my responsibilities. Of course, doctors at the hospital tell me that it will get better with time, and I believe so, but as long as I have symptoms, I feel like this pain will continue forever. Sometimes I feel weak.
