Popular Japanese singer Kana Nishino has officially announced her return to the music scene after taking a break for over four years. On June 25th, she shared the exciting news on her official website and posted a heartfelt handwritten message on her social media accounts.

Nishino has been on hiatus since February 2019 but expressed her deep gratitude to fans who supported her during this time. "Since my 'Love Collection Live 2019' concert, I've been on a break. I'm incredibly thankful to everyone who continued to support me warmly during this period," she wrote.

In her handwritten message, Nishino shared her joy about making a comeback. "It might be sudden, but I'm thrilled to announce that I'm returning to music. Thank you to everyone who listened to my songs and sent me warm messages while I was away. I'm so happy to share this news with you."

She also revealed some exciting plans, including the release of a new single, "EYES ON YOU," on July 5th, followed by an EP titled "Love Again" on September 18th. Fans can also look forward to live performances at Yokohama Arena on November 13th and 14th. "I'm sorry for the overload of information! With new songs coming out and preparations for the live shows, I'm excited every day! Most of all, I can't wait to see you all again!" she added enthusiastically.

Nishino paused her career after a concert at Yokohama Arena in February 2019. In March of that year, she married her long-time boyfriend, a non-celebrity, and in August 2023, she announced the birth of their first child on social media.
