Former AKB48 member Natsumi Hirajima has announced that she has gotten married.

Hirajima shared a handwritten message on her official X account, revealing that she recently registered her marriage and that her husband is a non-celebrity man. 

In her message, Hirajima reflected on her career since entering the showbiz at the age of 13 and expressed her gratitude to her fans, colleagues, and everyone who has supported her over the years. She also said she plans to continue her entertainment career and remain dedicated to her work as she begins this new chapter in her life.

Hirajima joined AKB48 as a first-generation member after passing the group's inaugural audition in 2005. She was also a member of the sub-unit Watarirouka Hashiritai alongside Aika Ota, Haruka Nakagawa, and Mayu Watanabe. Following her graduation from AKB48 in 2012, she has remained active as a tv personality, actress, and gravure idol.
