Shigeru Kishida, vocalist and guitarist of Quruli, announced that he is getting married to horn player Seina Yonesaki.
Kishida shared the news through his X account and a detailed post on note, revealing that the two first met at Quruli's Kyoto Music Expo in 2017. The two grew closer through their shared passion for music and collaborations, including "Shiokaze no Aria," before starting a relationship last year.
Describing Yonezaki as a musician he respects, a close friend, and someone he can always turn to for advice, Kishida expressed his happiness about starting a family with her. He also shared that they both enjoy cheering for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp and plan to split their time between Tango and Kyoto while continuing their respective careers.
Kishida formed Quruli in Kyoto in 1996, and the band made their major-label debut with "Tokyo" in 1998. Yonezaki is a freelance horn player from Hyogo Prefecture, who performs with orchestras, chamber music ensembles, and recording projects, primarily in the Kansai region.
