SWEET REVENGE, a new Asian-Pop trio, has launched their debut single “Might Just” with an accompanying music video. The group, formed through LDH JAPAN’s “Global Vocal Battle Auditions,” impressed international judges, including renowned producer AFROJACK, with their exceptional vocal and dance performances. After four years of rigorous training, SWEET REVENGE is ready to make their mark in the J-Pop world, drawing comparisons to superstars BLACKPINK with their unique blend of sweetness and femme fatale energy.

The trio is composed of ASAMI from Japan, AGNES from the Netherlands with Dutch and West African heritage, and LARISSA, also from the Netherlands. Each member brings a distinct style to the group, culminating in a bouncy, hook-laden track produced by the GRAMMY award-winning group The Stereotypes. The song’s production features plucky synths and energetic hi-hat drums, creating a whimsical, cotton candy atmosphere.

Directed by Los Angeles-based Amber Park, the “Might Just” music video showcases the group’s vibrant performance alongside animated digital avatars. The avatars, designed by Shinsei Galverse illustrator Ayaka Ohira and created by creative studio Active Theory, come to life through motion-capture technology managed by the LDH DIGITAL team. This visual and auditory spectacle is set to be the opening theme for the upcoming anime series "The Girl Downstairs," adapted from a popular Korean webtoon and slated to air on Japanese TV on July 3, 2024.
