KLP48 management has announced that Matsui Jurina will no longer serve as their playing manager.
KLP48 is AKB48's newest international sister group based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Back in May, it was announced that Matsui would join the group as their playing manager. However, according to KLP48 management, they decided it would be difficult for them to ask Matsui to be their playing manager when they have not been able to fully explain the details of her future activities.
On this, Matsui commented, "Although I will no longer be the playing manager, I will continue to support the 48 groups abroad including KLP48!"
The members of KLP48 will be decided through an audition. In addition, AKB48's Gyoten Yurina, Kurosu Haruka, and Yamane Suzuha, along with STU48's Kai Kokoa will officially be transferring to the group.
