Voice actress and actress Ami Maeshima has announced her solo artist debut under King Records' KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE label. During a live broadcast on her YouTube channel on the 26th, Maeshima revealed that her first album, titled Determination, will be released on November 20th.

The album, Determination, will feature 10 tracks, with the lead single sharing the same title. Maeshima herself wrote the lyrics for this track, adding a personal touch to her debut work.

The live stream also showcased a teaser video that captured Maeshima in various emotional states. The announcement also mentioned special bundle editions available at select stores, which come with an acrylic stand and poster, and plans for a series of events, such as a photo handover and a birthday celebration.

Looking ahead, Maeshima will hold her first solo live performance as a solo artist on April 13, 2025, at Kannaï Hall in Yokohama, marking another milestone in her career.

Born on November 22, 1997, in Saitama Prefecture, Maeshima first made her mark as a member and leader of the idol group SUPER☆GiRLS, debuting in 2010 before graduating in March 2017. Since then, she has appeared in various films, stage productions, and variety shows, and made a name for herself as a voice actress. 

After taking a break from the entertainment industry in November 2022, Maeshima resumed her activities in September 2023. Her return has been met with great anticipation, and her upcoming debut as a solo artist is expected to be a significant moment in her career.
