Former NGT48 member Rika Nakai has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.

Nakai graduated from NGT48 in August of 2023, then married a non-celebrity man in March of this year. The pregnancy announcement was made during Fuji TV's variety program 'All Night Fujiko.' Afterward, she updated her Instagram account saying, "Now that I'm in my second trimester, we are spending each day peacefully while feeling happiness and excitement, all while being puzzled experiencing everything for the first time. I am also very happy that I will be able to make my dream of becoming a cute mom come true."
