On September 1, it was announced that actress Yurina Hirate has joined the talent agency Cloud Nine. This news was revealed by the agency's president, Takuya Chigira, through his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Chigira shared the news by stating, "Yurina Hirate has joined Cloud Nine. She debuted in 2016 as part of Keyakizaka46 and began her solo career in 2020. Please look forward to her future endeavors," along with a newly released artist photo of Hirate.

In December 2022, Hirate transferred to NAECO, a label under HYBE JAPAN, which is the Japanese headquarters of HYBE, home to globally renowned artists like BTS and &TEAM. However, her exclusive contract with NAECO ended in August 2024.

Following the announcement of her departure, Chigira posted a photo of Hirate on his social media, commenting, "The Yurina Hirate I know is always 10 minutes early to meetings and is a considerate person. However, thinking about the future, I decided to keep her close to avoid any last-minute changes. She is now calmly preparing for what's next while under our care, so please wait a little longer."
