
Yuya Tegoshi, former NEWS member and seasoned J-pop artist, has joined the 13-member boy group and band XY, under the production of iconic musician YOSHIKI. This addition signals an exciting new phase for both Tegoshi and XY, who now embark on their journey together to reach global audiences. Fans will be able to follow this journey closely with the upcoming series "YOSHIKI Superstar Project X Season 2," airing on Nippon TV from October 29.

Formed through YOSHIKI’s 2022 "Superstar Project X" auditions, XY debuted in June 2023 with the single "Crazy Love." The group’s unique structure includes a mix of dance, vocal, and instrumental talent, featuring members like KYOHEY, KAIRI, FURUTATSU, KARMA, and GAI, along with dance crew members JAY, HAYATO, RAIA, KICE, KANJI, P→★, MITCHY, and KOSEI. With Tegoshi’s inclusion, XY’s 14-member lineup brings fresh talent and experience, aiming to push boundaries within the industry.
