Eleven new members of Nogizaka46’s 6th generation have been announced. Starting February 6, one new member will be revealed daily at 11:00 am JST.

Nogizaka46 held their 6th generation auditions in two parts, one in spring and one in summer of 2024, with a total of 11 new members being selected. On February 5, a teaser video featuring the "Spring group" members, who passed the spring audition, was released on the YouTube channel "Nogizaka Streaming" and other platforms. From February 6, the first 5 members from the spring group will be revealed, followed by the 6 members from the summer audition.

Additionally, on the night of February 4, the official Nogizaka46 SNS accounts posted a quote from Shakespeare’s collection of poems, referring to spring and summer with the lines "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?" and "But thy eternal summer shall not fade." This caused quite a stir among fans.
