Voice actress Mikako Komatsu has shared joyful news with her fans—she and her husband, fellow voice actor Tomoaki Maeno, have welcomed their second child. Komatsu took to Instagram to announce the birth, expressing gratitude and happiness as she embarks on this new chapter of motherhood.

In her post, Komatsu reflected on her journey, saying, "After wrapping up work, starting again, and then wrapping up once more, I safely gave birth to our second child!" She also shared an emotional moment from the delivery, revealing, "Right after giving birth, I was overwhelmed with tears..." emphasizing the deep joy she felt.

She went on to describe the heartwarming first meeting between their eldest child and the newborn. "Our firstborn was a bit nervous at first but quickly started gently patting the baby and peeking into the crib every chance they got. They’re already so caring!" Komatsu noted with excitement, hinting at the growing sibling bond.

Her husband, Maeno, also took to social media to express his gratitude, stating, "We are blessed to welcome a new member into our family. This experience has once again reminded me of the preciousness of life, and I feel even more determined moving forward." He extended his appreciation to fans and colleagues for their support.

The couple, who married in May 2020, welcomed their first child in January 2023 and had previously announced their second pregnancy in September last year.
