On March 5, 2025, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT announced that Gaku Kawashita and Taro Yoshikawa, members of Kansai Johnny's Jr. group AmBitious, will be leaving the agency on March 31, 2025. The decision follows discussions between the two members, their group, and the agency, ultimately respecting their wishes to pursue new paths.

Kawashita, who had been on a hiatus since June 2024 due to health concerns, expressed gratitude to fans and apologized for the sudden announcement. He shared that he carefully considered his decision and is determined to move forward. Yoshikawa similarly conveyed appreciation for the support he has received and emphasized his commitment to his next steps.

Their departure follows a series of Jr. exits in the past year, including members from HiHi Jets, Bi shonen, and the upcoming departure of Ruku Toma (Lil Kansai) at the end of March.

Both Kawashita and Yoshikawa thanked fans for their unwavering support, and their group, AmBitious, will continue its activities without them.
