It's been announced that Seiko Oomori will be terminating her exclusive management contract with Avex Group Holdings Inc. and her exclusive performer contract with Avex Music Creative Inc. as of March 31.

Oomori made her major debut under Avex on September 18 , 2014. She made the announcement regarding the contract termination via her X account. "I decided to go on a musical journey with Avex because I wanted to deliver my music to girls who, for example, hang out at convenience store bike racks or in Aeon mall parking lots, and are stuck inside their rooms or lost in social media. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to create so many songs," she expressed. 

Oomori's last live with Avex will take place on March 26 at KT Zepp Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture. She commented, "From April onwards, I will continue to live my music and this life with a DIY spirit, so if you'd like, please feel free to come and see me anytime ♡ as many times as you like ♡."
