Lil Kansai, the popular Kansai Junior group, has announced its disbandment as of April 1, 2025. STARTO ENTERTAINMENT made the official statement, revealing that the members will now pursue individual careers.

Formed on January 22, 2019, Lil Kansai was made up of five members: Toa Shimazaki (21), Kotaro Okazaki (21) Takuya Nishimura (21), Fuga Onishi (21), , and Ruku Touma (20). The group had a significant presence in the Kansai Junior scene, alongside Naniwa Danshi, who debuted in 2021, and Ae! group, who debuted last year.

In their joint message on the fan club site, the remaining four members expressed their decision to disband after much discussion, emphasizing their love for the group’s five-member format. They thanked their fans for the continued support, which allowed them to achieve so much together. They asked for fans to continue supporting them as they embark on their individual journeys.

This news comes after Ruku Touma left STARTO ENTERTAINMENT at the end of March, along with other Kansai Junior members, marking a period of change within the group and agency.

As Lil Kansai disbands, each member is set to explore new opportunities, and fans are encouraged to support their future endeavors.
