RIP SLYME will reunite as the original five-member group—RYO-Z, ILMARI, PES, SU, and FUMIYA— for a special one-year activity period leading up to their 25th anniversary in March 2026. The group hopes to convey their gratitude to fans and supporters through this memorial year before taking a break from group activities afterward to pursue individual musical paths.

Since 2022, RIP SLYME has been active with just three members—RYO-Z, ILMARI, and FUMIYA. However, during that time, the departure of PES and SU, along with speculation and misunderstandings surrounding their exits, caused confusion and concern among fans and stakeholders. This prompted the members to reconnect and have open conversations, addressing past misunderstandings and missteps within the group. The decision to reunite as the original five members came from a shared desire to create music together again.

After eight years, RIP SLYME will be back together, preparing new music and live performances for fans to enjoy. The group encourages everyone to look forward to the return of "RS5."
