AKB48's Maho Omori has announced that she will graduate from the group and retire from the entertainment industry following a performance on June 30. 

Omori, who joined AKB48 in 2018, reflected on her time with the group, saying, "I was able to experience so many things I never would have if I had lived an ordinary life, and more than anything, I was truly happy to be selected for seven consecutive singles." She explained that she decided to graduate after feeling she had completed her AKB48 journey without regrets.

Regarding her future, Omori shared that she plans to step away from the entertainment industry and begin a new path as an individual. "I would appreciate it if you could accept this decision," she said.
