In a joint statement, the couple shared, "We sincerely thank everyone for the many warm messages. As reported by some media outlets, Takashi Kashiwabara and Yuki Uchida have registered our marriage."

They continued, "We have spent many years together in both our personal and professional lives, and our relationship has previously been shared through the media. For that reason, we refrained from making a formal announcement until now. We hope you understand the timing of this announcement."

Reflecting on their relationship, they stated, "The time we have spent together has now taken the form of a family.
