Chuya Koyama's 'Uchuu Kyoudai' ('Space Brothers') has officially come to an end with the release of 'Morning' magazine's Issue No. 28 on June 11.

First serialized in 'Morning' in December 2007, 'Space Brothers' follows the lives of aspiring astronauts Mutta Nanba and his younger brother Hibito as they pursue their dreams of reaching space.

The manga was adapted into a live-action film and tv anime in 2012, followed by an animated film in 2014.

In 2011, the manga received both the General Category award at the 56th Shogakukan Manga Award and the General Category award at the 35th Kodansha Manga Award.
