On July 11, actor Tokio Emoto (36) and actress-musician Honami Sato (36) announced that they are expecting their first child together.

In a joint statement shared on social media, the couple revealed that their baby is due this fall.  They wrote, "We have been blessed with a new life. The baby is expected to arrive this fall, and we are currently spending our days peacefully, both physically and emotionally."

They also thanked those who have supported them, adding, "We would be grateful if you could continue to watch over us warmly. We sincerely appreciate your continued kindness and support."

Emoto is known for his roles in films including  'Outrage' and the NHK historical drama 'Idaten.' Sato is the drummer of Gesu no Kiwami Otome., performing under the name Hona Ikoka, and is also active as as an actress.

The couple announced their marriage in November 2025 after co-starring in the TV Tokyo drama 'Kinshicho Paradise' in 2024.
