Nittere genic is a project by Nihon TV, in which girls are chosen to debut under the Nittere genic project name for one year. �These girls will be appearing on various Nihon TV programs, as well as other events for one year.

Nihon TV has been holding this project since 1998, and many of the girls from previous years have moved on to become idols, such as Kato Ai, Ogura Yuko, and�Inoue Waka.

This year, 6 girls have been chosen for the Nittere genic project through variety show, "Idol no ana ~nittere genic wo sagase~."
