We reported earlier that Inoue Mao will be the heroine for the next NHK morning drama, "Ohisama," which will start on March 28th. �On October 4th, NHK announced additional cast members for the drama.

Mao will play Sudo Yoko (past), Harada Tomoyo as Yoko's mother, Terawaki Yasufumi as Yoko's father, �and Yoko's�childhood�will be played by Yagi Yuki, while veteran actress, Wakao Ayako will play Yoko in the present, and also the narrator.

Usually NHK morning drama's cast new face actresses, and it's also said that when chosen as an NHK morning drama heroine, that it is the gateway to success. �With that, it's quite rare that Inoue Mao who has a career of 18 years as an actress (including her child actress days) was chosen as the heroine.

Mao said, "To play Yoko as Wakao-san's past, was quite a bit of pressure. �I was also told that Yoko has to be attractive somehow. �I'm not sure if there will be any scene for me to be attractive, but that's one of my challenges. �I hope I can be like the 'ohisama'(sun) for people that watch the drama."
