Jazz band�Quasimode are�all set to release their very first single, �WHISKY�S HIGH feat. AFRA�, on December 8th.

It�s been a year since their last album, �daybreak�, but these highly talent musicians have collaborated with�AFRA from AFRA & Incredible BeatBox Band to deliver a refreshing sound.�Despite the group's numerous and previously released albums, this will be their first single.



The coupling song will be a live version of Miles Davis�s �So What� and a remix of �Take the New Frontier� from their third album. As an added bonus, a DVD featuring the PV for the cover of disco classic, �Light My Fire� will be included.

Based in Tokyo, Quasimode is a jazz band that was formed in 2002. The group's sound revolves around jazz rhythms from the 60s and 70s, and they've been compared to�Soil & �Pimp� Sessions and Sleepwalker. Quasimode is comprised of members Yusuke Hirado (piano and keys), Takahiro �mattz� Matsuoka (percussion), Kazuhiro Sunaga (bass), and Sounosuke Imaizumi (drums).
