Starting on October 17th, the opening theme for the Fuji TV drama series, "Perfect Report", will switch to one by m-flo and TERIYAKI BOYZ member, VERBAL.
The opening theme also features a new singer called SHUNYA, and it will be called, "Fall Out feat. SHUNYA". SHUNYA is new to the music scene, and is actually an 18-year-old college student from the Tokyo area. He was discovered through a national acappella contest back in the spring of this year. He was a part of the winning acappella group and VERBAL saw him at the event.
SHUNYA attended a summer school event at VERBAL's alma mater, so the two became acquainted and the rapper was charmed by SHUNYA's talent. When VERBAL was offered the drama tie up, he immediately wrote the song "Fall Out" and featured the new singer on it.
"Fall Out" will start airing in the drama on October 17th, but won't be available for download until November 24th from Chaku-Uta. VERBAL has experience in over 80 collaborations and guest appearances on other songs, but this will be the first time he does a drama theme under his solo name.
